It combines two pieces of furniture in one compact space, serving flexibly as both an elegant writing desk and a luxurious vanity. We have completely restored, sanded, and oiled the piece, restoring the teak wood to its full depth and ensuring all drawers glide smoothly. At first glance, this Danish original appears to be a classic, sophisticated secretary desk. The upper section offers practical small drawers and shelves for letters and documents, complemented by a generous, pull-out work surface. A particular eye-catcher is the back panel of the upper compartment, which we have lined with royal blue velvet – a deep blue accent that harmonizes beautifully with the warm teak wood. Below the work surface, three more wide, large drawers provide ample storage space. The true secret is revealed only upon closer inspection: the top drawer is not an ordinary pull-out. When you lift its front, it reveals itself as a fully functional vanity table with an integrated mirror in the lid. Instead of a simple shelf, the drawer's interior features numerous individual compartments for jewelry, watches, or cosmetics. A masterfully crafted and truly rare piece of furniture, embodying Scandinavian sophistication in its purest form.
