This painting, "Moselle Landscape," is explicitly mentioned in Herbert Griebitzsch's publication:
"from a formal perspective, Neyer's paintings are most clearly constructed. The artist often follows village streets, where a naturalistic style of construction has a vibrant effect. The individual building is freely designed, its appearance simplified, in order to reveal the essence of the house and its connection to the surrounding nature through its rhythmic structure. This experience can be presented with magnificent power ('Luxembourg Landscape'), or it can be characterized by lyrical melody, as in 'Moselle Landscape'" (p. 20).
