Conference armchair alu group designer: charles and ray eames year: 1958 manufacturer: herman miller, zealand country: u.s.a. Measurements: h 103 cm sh 46 cm w 57 cm d 60 cm material: chrome-plated aluminum profiles, multi-layered seat fabric in light brown. Condition: good condition
special remarks: with few traces of usage. Freshly cleaned, the swiveling conference armchair with tipper is in good vintage condition. The comfortable, light armrest model, a seat sculpture with a large comfort factor, can be rotated. Our piece carries the underframe with tipper and is no longer in production. The very hard-wearing fabric is almost like new after cleaning, the chrome plating on the top of the armrests is slightly patinated. The spring of the tipper can be adjusted to the weight of the user via this object: originally conceived as light, hard-wearing furniture for outdoors, the modern shape and comfort of the models were decisive for the classic "alu - group". Thanks to the different bases, seat heights and inclination of the aluminum retaining profiles, a large variety of models can be achieved
the aluchairs by charles and ray eames are very popular around the world. Our model has not been in production for decades with this base frame and upholstery fabric.
