This is a records cabinet (not for vinyl records) made in the style of Louis XV. It has a high level of floral marquetry on each of the large four panel doors. The internal shelves are adjustable height and are approximately 10.5 inches deep. It could be used to store anything you collect, or could also be a really interesting drinks cabinet.
The top and bottom locks on the left door are in working order and the cabinet has a working key, but unfortunately the lock pushes back in on itself and does not always catch. The doors do still remain closed even if not locked. There are other imperfections as seen in the photos but overall based on it's age it is in excellent condition.
There is no maker mark that I can see and I purchased this item at an estate sale so I unsure of many details regarding date of construction or origin but based on similar cabinets and research I believe it to be French, rosewood, Circa 1900 or earlier.
Overall dimensions are 45 inches long, 13 deep and 44 tall.
