A mix … Read more This impressive modular corner storage unit from Hekman Furniture (Model 5330-2446) delivers exceptional versatility and classic traditional styling. A mix of solid and laminated cherry wood, it features solid wood doors, solid decorative panels and front trim, solid shelving units, paired with quality construction throughout.

Design & Storage Highlights:
Two symmetrical corner "open bookshelf" style shelving units are perfect for maximizing space in dining rooms, living areas, offices, or entryways. Each shelving unit comes with four adjustable shelfs, shelving brackets, and one fixed shelf. Each measures 22.5" W x 22.5" D x 81.5" H), deal for books, decor, or display.

Central stacked unit (overall 32.25" W x 22.5" D x 81.5" H when assembled) with:Upper cabinet section (32.25" W x 22.5" D x 50.25" H) and Lower cabinet section (32.25" W x 22.5" D x 31.25" H), each with double doors. The upper unit includes one fixed shelf, and a power cord opening. These units stack securely using included pins and top brackets, though there may be some gaps top to bottom depending on leveling. Beautiful decorative brass-tone knobs and faux keyhole/lock details on the doors lend an elegant, traditional touch.

The upper and lower cabinets include three shelves with shelf clips. These can be used on either the upper or lower sections, as desired. See photos for an example of one installed shelf and pre-drilled adjustment holes. These shelves are cherry laminate sturdy particle board, 3/4" thick.

This piece has had one owner, and was kept in a non-smoking home. It remains in excellent condition overall. There are some odd marks on the top of the lower cabinet (see photo showing marks, along with a dime for perspective). These are best described as random minute bubbles. However, once assembled these are completely hidden from view. There are minor wear marks around the door knob on the right of the upper cabinet, but nothing noticeable from a few feet away. One or two of the shelf-clip holes show some wear. The three cabinet shelves show marks from the shelf clips on the bottom side and show wear marks from a variety of contents over the years.

The cherry finish glows with warmth, and all doors function smoothly. Minor signs of age are consistent with a well-cared-for heirloom piece.
