This set of 6 Vintage Donghia "Anziano" brown leather chairs is a great showcase for this iconic minimalist chair's distinctly bold design and concave backrests. This Anziano chair is a reinterpretation of the classic Klismos chair form and was designed in 1989 by renowned furniture designer John Hutton for the American Academy of Rome.The leather and stitching down the middle add a genuine rustic quality to this set. The frames are sleek ebonized metal.
This set has been incredibly versatile over the years and has served as a dining set, desk chairs and accent chairs at different times throughout the home and guest rooms Each chair has the aunthentic Donghia mark attached on the underside.
