Description:
The vessel is constructed from stoneware or earthenware clay and finished using the Raku firing process, resulting in a matte, carbonized black surface. The body is covered with etched, vertical striations.
Its most distinctive feature is the application of sculptural components at the neck, which are designed to resemble abstract bone fragments. One prominent piece on the front face has an abstract skeletal forms including a profile of a skull. There are a few cutout along the bottom of the neck.
