A four piece service by JB Ginochio (John B. Ginochio, New York, active 1837-1854). All pieces match and have a monogram on one side - SAM.

This set consists of approximately 3,000g (96.52 Ozt.) of coin silver, namely: a coffee pot 12 1/4 inches high weighing approximately 1136 g; a lidded bowl 10 3/4 inches tall weighing approximately 856 g; a 9 inch tall 500 g ewer; and a 510 g 6 3/8 inches tall waste bowl.

They feature chased and repousse floral, leaf and fruit scrolls, including grape and leaf motifs.

In excellent condition overall with a few small signs of age: cracked insulators and one small ding on the ring where to body attaches to the base of the teapot; two small dents (one <1/4", other <1/8") on the lidded bowl; very slight abrasion on the waste bowl.
