rare, hand-signed first edition copy of the Jeff Koons & Andy Warhol: Flowers exhibition catalog, published by Gagosian Gallery in 2002.
Original Artwork: Includes an original, hand-drawn flower doodle by Jeff Koons in silver marker, dated 6/11/04.
Provenance: This copy comes with prestigious provenance from the personal collection of the late Ann P. Wyckoff, a revered Seattle Art Museum (SAM) trustee and philanthropist. As a former SAM employee of ten years, I can personally attest to the high standards and care given to this collection.
Dual Artist Catalog: This unique "dos-à-dos" (back-to-back) volume is divided equally between both artists. One side explores Warhol’s iconic flower series from the 50s-70s, while the other features Koons’ floral sculptures and paintings.
Gagosian Exhibition: Published on the occasion of the seminal 2002 exhibition at Gagosian Gallery, New York.
Collector's Format: Hardcover, approximately 10.25" x 10.25", featuring 112 pages of premium paper stock with over 70 color illustrations.
