Shapes & decorations : - materials: the chairs are made of carved wood. The ecru silk upholstery is held in place by upholstery tacks. The legs, armrests, and uprights are finely carved with foliage and rocaille motifs. - structure and form: the slightly inclined backrest follows a straight line, and the seat, slightly wider towards the front, is characteristic of classic furniture. The four legs, curved in an "s" shape, are an essential marker of the louis xv style. State of preservation and value the patina of the wood testifies to its age and adds to its charm. See less
