subject and style: the central body is crafted from fine cobalt blue porcelain, hallmarked on the base, of the highest quality by the renowned t. Limoges factory. At the center stands a romantic, classically styled medallion with a silk-screened romantic scene, expertly enriched with exquisite painted details and framed by sumptuous gold scrollwork. The massive base and upper fittings are crafted from finely crafted and perforated brass. The light source is complemented by a large, picturesque tulip-shaped lampshade in frosted glass, decorated with elegant engraved motifs that diffuse the light with remarkable softness.
