This finely crafted piece features a rectangular top showcased by a walnut burl field inset within a solid walnut mitered frame.

The table also has a fluted frieze on all sides directly beneath the table top and the lower apron is heavily carved with shell and acanthus designs running along a thick scroll cut edge. Adding functionality and historic charm, both short ends feature pull-out candle or service slides finished with petite brass button pulls. Each cabriole leg is topped with deeply carved foliate knees and terminates in ball-and-claw feet.

Stamped underneath with the official Hekman maker's mark, this versatile table is ideal as a distinctive end table, sofa side companion, or traditional tea table in any high-end traditional or eclectic interior.
