The chest features a beautifully inlaid top with a book-matched, highly figured elm burl field bordered by fine line inlay and a cross-banded walnut perimeter. The classic two-over-three drawer configuration showcases intensely figured burl drawer fronts, each framed by delicate cockbead molding. The drawers are equipped with heavy, polished brass pierced batwing escutcheons and bail pulls that provide a striking contrast to the rich wood tones.

Constructed with traditional craftsmanship, the oak-lined drawers feature clean, tight dovetail joinery. The case is flanked by smooth, straight-grain bookmatched walnut sides and rests on a molded base supported by classic straight bracket feet.
