Art Deco period bookcase in lacquered wood with a decoration imitating rusted, patinated sheet metal, circa 1930-1940.
This original piece of furniture captivates with its industrial and modernist aesthetic, typical of late Art Deco creations.
The front opens with two doors at the bottom and two sliding glass panels at the top, offering ample storage and display space. The bookcase retains its original shelving.
The splayed legs lend lightness and elegance to the silhouette while emphasizing the resolutely modern character of the piece. The faux-oxidized metal finish provides a rare and very contemporary decorative presence.
