A beautiful architectural artifact like nothing we've ever seen. It was artfully created, shaped into a detailed 3-D design and painted. This 19th century corbel shelf / wall bracket features a monogramed shield. The solid body is bordered in a carved acanthus leaf motif with graceful gilt leaves. The coat of arms has a family name of "V S" or "S V" and the flat top makes the perfect finishing touch. This splendid antique would make a major architectural statement as a corbel or a unique decor accent. With a romantically worn finish, this piece is a showstopper.
