The composition is conceived in the characteristic asymmetrical Rococo manner, with flowing, sinuous lines and a richly modelled relief. The openwork bronze frame is decorated with dynamic acanthus scrolls, rocaille motifs and cartouches, forming a complex yet harmonious silhouette. The central section is fitted with a metal mesh, designed to protect the interior from sparks while simultaneously enhancing the decorative character of the object. The screen rests on elegantly curved feet, providing both stability and visual lightness.
