Design
Each chair is built from a solid wooden frame, likely walnut or stained beech, with a warm tone that anchors the design. The backrests are executed in Coromandel veneer, their vivid, almost flame-like grain introducing a strong visual rhythm. This interplay between expressive surface and grounded construction aligns with the principles of the Amsterdam School, where sculptural presence and artisanal detail were carefully balanced. The slightly faceted top corners of the backrests soften the geometry, giving the chairs a composed yet distinctive outline.
