This gorgeous ceiling light was designed by achille castiglioni and produced in italy during the 1960s. Fully original and in amazing vintage condition, with no tears or rips. The cocoon shade has developed a marvelous and uniform warm beige patina over time, giving the lamp an incredibly charming and authentic character. When lit, the effect is simply spectacular, casting a warm and welcoming glow. The pendant features a sensual rounded silhouette composed of a steel internal frame entirely covered in natural sprayed resin, a technique that became iconic in italian lighting design during the period. The lamp has been professionally wired and tested, compatible with both us and eu/uk standards, and uses one standard e26/e27 light bulb. An iconic and timeless pendant, perfect to elevate an organic modern, mid-century modern or contemporary interior.
