Antique faux bamboo mirror with original spotted mirror plate, entirely in Chinoiserie style; this style was very popular during the Art Nouveau period, originating from France, first half of the 20th century.
This beautiful wooden frame has been turned and worked to resemble real bamboo, hence the name faux bamboo. This piece bears a very beautiful weathered patina of age; the mirror glass is oxidized and spotted, which is common in very old mirrors.
This object is in authentic antique condition, showing signs of age and use appropriate for its age, but nothing disturbing. Check the photos for more details!
