Designer Dario Nasuti conceived this work from the vivid memory of waking up from anesthesia in an operating room. That sensation of sensory confusion, the aseptic and cold perception of machinery, and the sudden burst of light were translated into an object with a "bizarre and unsettling" allure. Sharp is a sculpture that does not seek to please, but rather to evoke an intense emotional reaction.

The Architecture of Dissonance
The visual core of the work lies in the intentional material and luminous contrast:

The Blades: The asymmetric towers are composed of laser-cut steel discs, manually interlocked and welded. The micro-peened finish gives them an opaque, surgical appearance, reminiscent of an electric razor head.

The Mirror: The base is a mirror-polished steel ceiling plate (70x40x5 cm) that acts as a stage for the blades and an amplifier of reflections.

The Dissonant Light: The lighting system intentionally mixes a warm central spotlight (10W) with two cold lateral light points (7W each). This chromatic clash against the mirrored and matte structure generates a suspended and disorienting atmosphere.

Mechanical Craftsmanship from Parma
Like all of Nasuti's production, Sharp is deeply rooted in its territory. The ceiling plate and towers are crafted by a small artisan workshop in the Parma area, renowned for its extreme precision in steelwork. It is "Industrial Art-Design" that brings the mechanical perfection of the Emilian district into the living space.
