Here is an extremely rare set of six Mid-Century Modern dining chairs, dating from the 1950s-1960s, in the purest tradition of understated and elegant Scandinavian modernism.

The solid walnut-stained wood frame is distinguished by its tapered, splayed legs, an essential signature of 1950s design. The generously padded seat rests on a cross-shaped frame equipped with sinuous (no-sag) springs, demonstrating meticulous craftsmanship and lasting comfort. The cream-white faux leather upholstery, elegantly enhanced with black piping, lends the chairs a discreet and timeless refinement. The slightly curved and angled backrest, secured with visible decorative nails, adds that touch of character typical of European production of the period.

Very good overall condition for pieces of this age: solid and stable frame, wood with a beautiful natural patina, upholstery showing some yellowing and normal signs of wear consistent with age (visible in the photos).
