infinite is a conceptual lighting piece where light is captured and reshaped by a continuous flow of metal. Italian designer dario nasuti conceived the work starting from a radical graphic gesture: he traced the infinity symbol (a large inverted figure eight) directly onto the surface of the ceiling plate, using it as an invisible map to position the support hooks. From this geometric blueprint, a floating metallic cascade comes alive, appearing to have no beginning and no end, transforming industrial steel into a piece of monumental ceiling jewelry.

the production process: manual weaving and asymmetry
the artwork represents a perfect synthesis between the manufacturing excellence of parma, italy, and the designer's signature sartorial sensitivity:

the hand-woven mesh: around one hundred large steel rings, each with a 5 cm diameter, are used. The first row is hooked parallel to the base; moving downwards, the rings are manually interlocked and woven into one another, creating a flexible, three-dimensional, and moving metallic armor.

the casual fringe: the lower section of the lamp rejects rigid lines, culminating in a casual, asymmetrical fringe that lends lightness, movement, and an organic sense of high-fashion drape to the industrial material.

the structure: the steel ceiling plate (70x40x5 cm) is handcrafted in a local specialized workshop and acts as an amplifying mirror, reflecting and visually doubling the density of the metal web.

the lighting direction and kaleidoscope effect
a single 10w recessed led spotlight is embedded at the heart of the structure. The choice of a central, directional light source is highly intentional: the light cuts vertically through the interlaced rings, fracturing and projecting a hypnotic kaleidoscope of circular shadows and metallic glints across the ceiling and surrounding walls, shifting with every viewing angle.
