Signed by Haitian artist Michelet, this vibrant village scene has that classic Haitian folk art feel with lush tropical greenery, winding paths, tiny homes, and figures carrying baskets through the landscape. The blues and greens are especially striking in person.

Painted oil on board and housed in a warm-toned wood frame that works perfectly with the painting. It has that cheerful, collected-over-time look that fits so well in beach houses, eclectic interiors, or layered gallery walls.

The back still retains an old gallery label from The Print Gallery in Southfield, Michigan, which adds a nice bit of history.
