This circa 2003 Staub La Theiere porcelain enamel glazed cast iron tea kettle appears to have never been used. Larger than the current 1 qt. models now selling for $250 - it holds approximately 1.5 quarts. Porcelain glazed exterior in a gradated blue hue that is no longer available. Black porcelain glazed interior. . Made in France - this unique design features steel "bucket" handles that fold out for filling. Heavy cast iron construction which provides a higher boiling point plus lasting heat retention. Lid has solid brass knob and molded wording that reads "LE THEIERE STAUB". Comes with a stainless steel mesh tea ball that affixes to lid.
Measures 8.25' high x 8.25" wide (spout to vessel edge) x 6.25 deep.
