In 1780 Williams Adams introduced a pattern inspired by rare Chinese blue and white pottery.. The "Chinese bird" pattern features an intricate crackle pattern surrounding center tableaus of birds and people. Revived in the 1920's - it became one of the most popular and highly collectible patterns. And was subsequently issues throughout the balance of the 20th century. This rare and unique scalloped edged and handled pickle dish was created in the 1920's. Measures 6" wide x 3.75" deep x 1.75" high.
In excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, or glaze loss.
