Circa 1900, late Qing Dynasty, … Read more This is a Pair Of Antique Chinese Famille Rose Footed Plates that haven’t been used. Circa 1900, late Qing Dynasty, excellent condition consistent with their age and style. They are both hand painted with Rabbits & Peonies designs on the top and undersides, but one is octagonal and one is hexagonal, customary for this period (see gallery notes). These footed porcelain dishes are apx 8.5-9” in diameter and 2” tall. They weigh almost 1lb 6 oz each. The dimpling on the top surface of the glaze is a result of the sand kiln firing and is not seen as a flaw. See less
