Magnificent English sterling silver (925/1000) coffee pot, George III period.
Classic Georgian form: slender baluster body on a reinforced circular base, domed lid surmounted by a finial in the shape of a chased pine cone, elegant spout, and carved natural wood handle (original pear or fruitwood, warm and authentic patina, securely fastened with chased silver ferrules).
Late Rococo repoussé and chased decoration: friezes of blooming flowers (roses, peonies, sinuous foliage), scrolling foliage, and central cartouches with engraved coats of arms (monogram or family crest in an oval cartouche surrounded by volutes and flowers – typical of custom orders from the English aristocracy).
Finely chased handle and spout with matching floral motifs.

Condition
Excellent for its age (over 245 years). No major damage or deformation. The repoussé decoration is very crisp and detailed (flowers and coat of arms well preserved). No visible repairs or soldering. A few minor scratches consistent with age. The handle is sound, without cracks.
Note:
There is a slight dent on the lid from normal use, where it rests against the top of the handle when the lid is rotated to open it. This piece has an attribution mark,
