Follow through, one step at a time. Following the Japanese Kintsugi tradition of repairing pottery with gold, this piece has been blessed with a touch of gold where she needed it on several places. Born and based in Amsterdam, Françoise Jeffrey dedicated her unique pieces of ceramics to her mother Betty, considering her her main source of inspiration along with the Japanese philosophy of wabisabi. with a preference for basic and timeless design, the beauty in her design is all about the minimalistic yet subtly bold approach. Her objects are mostly off white, brown or black, without any glaze and preferably a bit bigger than average. See less
