A delicate secretary desk from the 1940s with a strikingly clean design and a beautiful, geometric front. Behind the drop-front is a practical interior with small compartments and drawers. The slender legs and warm wood tones give the piece an elegant and timeless look. The vibrant grain and intricately crafted veneer pattern lend it its distinctive character.
The secretary desk is made of veneered wood with genuine cherry wood elements. All three keys, handles, and fittings are original.
The desk has been restored with a satin finish, its functionality has been overhauled, and the drop-front mechanism has been repaired. Traces of previous restorations and age-related wear have been intentionally preserved, contributing to its authentic vintage charm.
The desk height is 76.5 cm, with a tabletop measuring 84 x 44 cm.
