Antique French fireback crafted from solid cast iron and dating from the 18th century. Traditionally used at the back of a fireplace to protect masonry and reflect heat back into the room, this piece also functions as a decorative architectural object.
The fireback features a decorative relief with a naturally aged surface and patina developed over time. Its substantial weight and authentic character make it suitable for use in traditional fireplaces or as a wall-mounted decorative element in rustic, château, or country interiors.
