A large and impressive lamp base in clear Murano glass with bubbles ("bulicante"), most likely from the Barovier & Toso production. The lamp is made of stacked glass blocks. The electrical system is more recent, likely replaced in the 1960s or 1970s.
Very good condition, with no breaks or cracks. The lampshade pictured was used for demonstration purposes only and is no longer available.
The measurements shown refer to the lamp body only (not the shade). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
