Rare Art Deco Streamline Moderne Chaise Lounge by JAZ —
After Donald Deskey Royalchrome
An exceptional Streamline Moderne chaise lounge by JAZ, crafted as a faithful homage to the iconic Donald Deskey Royalchrome designs of the 1930s. A dramatic reclining form featuring sculpted chrome-and-leather aesthetic with stacked horizontal banding and an enveloping curved backrest — a showpiece in its own right and a perfect complement to matching club armchairs.
Solid chrome-plated steel tube framing with genuine cream/ivory leather upholstery, faithful to the proportions and design language of the Deskey originals. The Royalchrome originals regularly command five-figure prices at Heritage Auctions, Wright, and Christie's.
Used condition consistent with approximately 25–30 years of age.
Chrome retains good luster. Leather shows honest wear.
