Elegant Cybis Ballerina "On-Cue" Porcelain Bisque Figurine on Original Wooden Base
Vintage 1960's. The delicate details makes it a striking piece.
During the 1960's and 1970's, Cybis figurines were frequent Gifts of State from the USA to foreign dignitaries. When Princess Christina of Sweden visited the United States in 1965 she was given a Ballerina "On-Cue" figurine.
The figurine has the "Cybis" stamp on the underside of the ballerina as well as pottery stamped into the piece.
Wood base measures 10.5" x 4.5" w x 5"
Ballerina measures 11.5" x7.5" x4.25" (not including the base)
This figurine is in very good condition, but the attachment to the base is a little loose allowing the figurine to be rotated about an inch on the base. The last two photos which show the rotation.
