A striking and sophisticated perfectly matched pair of Majolica styled monumental Ginger Jar shaped porcelain lamps with highly elaborate surface reliefs and patterns glazed in brilliant Cream colored highly crackled glaze made in Italy circa 1960's. Their striking and elaborately detailed Classic profile combined with the contrasting solid wood matching pedestals & finials creates a profound visual statement, all expertly crafted and finely decorated as Mid Century Italian ceramics were known for. These striking lamps are in exceptional gently used all original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Very faint signs of age with no damage or repair issues aside from just a couple of tiny rough glaze spots on a few raised relief parts possibly from manufacture process. Original 3-way sockets and power cords have been inspected to be safe and completely functional. The matching Off White Linen-like shades are a contemporary replacements and essentially perfect.
