Antique 19th C French Louis XV Revival Gilt Wood & Woven Tapestry Fire Screen
This stunning Antique 19th C French Louis XV Revival Gilt Wood & Woven Tapestry Fire Screen is in fair to good condition for age
The front showcases a beautifully detailed tapestry paneled with a great floral arrangement in a basked in muted tones. The back side is a golden/yellow fabric.
The fabric both on front and back shows wear - the front does have splitting but still looks good when viewing. The back fabric does have a splitting and a rip towards the top
The lovely gilt frame does also show its age but all the lovely details remain with floral and ornate scroll designs
Some chipping of gold through out frame but for age it still looks nice
The piece is still sturdy and it is well made
It measures ~35.5" tall x ~25" wide x ~12.5" deep at the feet
Its still a stunning work of decorative art!
