A large-format publisher’s edition relating to Christo & Jeanne-Claude’s celebrated Wrapped Reichstag project, realised in Berlin in 1995.
Published in 1994 by Schumacher Edition, Düsseldorf, this authorised offset lithograph reproduces the artists’ preparatory collage and architectural elevation studies, and incorporates an original swatch of the woven polypropylene fabric used in the wrapping of the Reichstag.
The inclusion of the authentic project textile materially elevates the work beyond a standard poster edition, placing it within the broader context of Christo & Jeanne-Claude’s project documentation and mixed-media works.
Presented in its original black frame, retaining gallery or framer labelling to the reverse. This piece has an attribution mark,
