A cohesive collection of six original Swedish Art Deco gouaches on wove card, dated between 1930 and 1934, each depicting a commercial advertising sign for local businesses including a travel agency, hotel, gramophone retailer, insurance company, jeweller and goldsmith.
Executed as professional presentation drawings, the works demonstrate the clarity and discipline of early Scandinavian commercial design. Strong geometric structure, controlled perspective and confident, restrained colour palettes reflect the transition toward modernist graphic language in the early 1930s.
Each sheet bears a consistent monogram signature and date (1930–1934), indicating a single designer, with visible pencil guidelines, annotations and border lines confirming their status as original working designs rather than later reproductions.
A rare and visually coherent group of pre-war Scandinavian commercial artwork, offered as a complete set. The works lend themselves equally to individual framing or presentation as two balanced triptychs. This piece has an attribution mark,
