Vintage Roseville Pottery Brown "Pine Cone" window box planter. The planter has a twig style handle and a pine cone and needles motif. It is rectangular in shape and 13" in length, 5" in width and 4" in height and has a matte finish. This pattern was introduced in 1935.
There are chips on the underside of two corners which can be viewed in the last three photos. One is visible only from below. They are both on the same side of the planter and that side could be positioned against a wall.
There are also some imperfections in the glaze that occurred during manufacturing.
Aside from these issues, the planter is in good condition with no cracks or crazing. The interior shows no sign of wear suggesting the planter was used only as a decorative item.
