The lamp features a richly textured blown glass body with extraordinary gold inclusions suspended within the transparent glass, creating a luminous and vibrant surface reminiscent of aventurine and pulegoso techniques. The rounded lower body is embellished with delicate raised motifs and controlled bubbling, giving the piece remarkable depth and a precious jewel-like appearance when illuminated. A beautifully patinated brass mount crowns the base, adding a sophisticated contrast to the warm golden tones of the Murano glass. The original brass elements show a wonderful aged finish consistent with time and use.
