Tresca pendant lamp, designed by Eduardo Albors for the Valencian firm Lamsar in 1977. A piece that encapsulates the innovative spirit of Spanish design in the late 1970s.
The white lacquered aluminum shade is suspended by three knotted cords with counterweights, allowing its tilt and light direction to be adjusted via a dynamic and intuitive system. This mechanism introduces an unusual interactive dimension, where the user actively participates in the lighting configuration.
In the 1970s, Albors founded the Caps i Mans studio, which later became part of the La Nave collective, a driving force behind the new Valencian design movement internationally.
A representative piece from a key period in contemporary Spanish design, where experimentation and functionality coexist naturally.
