A vibrant Chinese porcelain drum table or garden stool with richly detailed hand-painted decoration throughout. The piece features a classic barrel-form silhouette with raised gilt-tone bosses around the upper and lower bands, pierced openings at the sides and top, and colorful famille rose-style enameling.
The decoration includes dramatic dragon panels with swirling cloud motifs, figural court scenes, floral borders, landscape details, and auspicious roundel-style symbols. The top is especially decorative, with dragons surrounding the pierced center design, making this a striking accent from every angle.
This versatile piece can be used as a small side table, garden stool, plant stand, pedestal, or decorative accent in a chinoiserie, maximalist, eclectic, Hollywood Regency, or traditional interior.
