Manufactured in west germany by imprex, signed on the bottom:
“imprex d-wiesbaden”.
the model dates from the 1970s and is a very interesting example of decorative vintage design from an era fascinated by ethnic and tribal styles.
the entire piece is made of thick, molded leather in a dark brown color, featuring an embossed geometric ornament and stylized figures and symbols. The basket has a metal side handle.

it works great as:

condition
good vintage condition with a natural patina and signs of wear consistent with its age. The leather has retained a very attractive color and texture.
