Handcrafted table lamp made of wheel-thrown ceramic, circa 1970s. A piece with a strong sculptural presence, representative of the studio ceramic aesthetic of the second half of the 20th century.
It features a cylindrical body with an integrated, curved, wrap-around shade, creating a minimalist and architectural composition. The matte, earthy-toned surface retains natural variations from the firing process, adding material and visual depth, while the interior displays pronounced striations from the wheel, emphasizing its handcrafted character.
The structure filters the light in a warm and directed manner, creating an intimate and enveloping atmosphere.
An ideal piece for wabi-sabi, contemporary, or organically inspired interiors.
Condition: Very good overall condition, with slight signs of use consistent with its age.
