This piece is 1 of 2 made. No more being reproduced. In 2004, Native American leader and symbol of hope, Leonard Peltier, painted this with only limited supplies while wrongfully prisoned.
A member of the family provided only 2 ever of this piece. I received it as a gift, the Buffalo is my spirit animal. It’s vital this one and only for sale is ideally appreciated.
The red in the piece is darker, consistent with his only red option to paint with while incarcerated. His other works from that time have the same shade.
The signature: This beauty has a Peltier classic with the arrow, 2 feathers, the year and the letter shape in his name is ALL the same as his other works.
