Intricate, hand-cut pierced lattice walls designed to mimic woven basketry, historically used to allow airflow around fruit. Classic French Empire/Regency style featuring a solid apricot/salmon band paired with hand-painted gold gilt highlighting on the lattice arches and rims. Features a prominent stylized gilt "B" monogram hand-painted on the pedestal base. Flared, boat-shaped oval bowl fixed atop a square plinth pedestal base.
Dimensions: 9" height x 10.25" long x 5.5 deep.
Condition: Excellent, no chips or cracks and the gold gilt is beautiful. See less
