Clayberger places the nude female figure with her back turned to the viewer, seated on a vividly pink draped stool, and in doing so creates a composition that feels both observational and deliberately stylized. Its energy comes from the way the artist balances the sensuality of the body against the cool, almost abstract geometry of the background.
