Its richly patinated bronze surface is accented by verified traces of original gold leaf gilding, whispering of its long history and spiritual past. This artistic sculpture features half-closed eyes in a state of meditation and elongated earlobes representing the Buddha's spiritual power. The hair is depicted in traditional "snail-shell" curls, which still retain bright remnants of historic gilding in the deep recesses. Stylistically consistent with the Ayutthaya period, this bronze head possesses a level of natural verdigris patina and casting refinement that suggests a 19th-century or potentially earlier origin.

A small historic casting loss is present at the base of the chin, providing an authentic window into the traditional hollow-casting process used to create this piece. It remains structurally sound, mounted on a custom dark wood plinth.
