The body, base, and upper bowl of the vase are adorned with deeply carved, stylized acanthus leaves, a hallmark of Ancient Greek and Roman design. The top projecting cornice features a traditional egg-and-dart geometric pattern common in classical cornices and moldings. : The lower pedestal stem uses crisp, vertical architectural fluting to ground the composition. Made from cast architectural plaster, composite resin, or faux-stone cement.
It features a "shabby chic" or weathered Tuscan style with simulated structural stress lines, superficial hairline cracks, and surface pitting to evoke an old-world, excavated stone look.
The monochromatic white/cream matte finish emphasizes cast shadows and highlights the high three-dimensional relief of the central vase.
