The price reflects the fact that these are being sold in 'as found' condition and will need light refinishing to the wood frame and reupholstering.

Erik Buch, Danish industrial designer, focused on organic, smooth lines to create distinctive mid-century modern designs. The OD in the model name reflects the name of the cabinetmaker and furniture manufacturer Oddense Maskinsnedkeri used to make them. Many of Buch’s designs are named after the year in which they were conceived (1961 in the case of these bar stools, though they were produced after Oddense was renamed O.D. Møbler in the late 1960s or early 1970s) since the label on the underside of the stools identifies the maker as O.D. Møbler.
