I've been told they were spoon holders but I can't find any reference to them. They are signed and are hand painted. One has a flea bite on the front edge and in view of this fact I find it hard to believe they are spoon holders, no chips or wear present. Each side on both pieces are painted green to look like bamboo, very well done These are older pieces and display well. I'm at a loss as to what or how to describe them. See less
